Research Engineer
Job Description:
Polaron Analytics is looking for a part-time graduate student or employee supporting an ongoing DoD project. The employee should have experience implementing convolutional neural networks using Python scripting language. The employee will utilize their technical expertise and experience to provide a comprehensive solution with critical thinking. The employee will also assist in writing and subsequent submission of grant proposals.
Requirements:
Prior image processing experience using convolutional neural network utilizing Python scripting language. Attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Current graduate students or MS/Ph.D. Strong technical writing skills. US Citizens or Green Card holders.
Preferred Experience:
At least one peer-reviewed journal or conference publication in convolutional neural networks. Experienced in one or more of the technologies: Django, Chart.js, AWS EC2, and AWS SES.

Contract Data Analyst
Job Description:
Polaron Analytics is looking for independent contractor in support of ongoing and upcoming projects. The contractor is independent to work from any location within US with flexible hours. The Contract Data Analyst will utilize their technical expertise and experience to conduct in-depth analysis of scientific data with critical thinking.
Requirements:
- Prior data analysis experience using Python/Perl or other popular scripting/programing languages.
- Experience in Machine Learning algorithms.
- BA/BS/MS/PhD in one or more of the following areas: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Material
- Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science
- Strong technical writing skills
- US Citizens or Green Card holders
